StrongVPN L2TP/IPsec on Android
Here we have how-to example for L2TP over IPsec VPN connection on Android, tested with StrongVPN service.
Tested on Android v2.1
1) Under Settings choose Wireless & networks

2) Choose VPN settings from options

3) Use Add VPN to add new connection

4) Choose Add L2TP/IPSec PSK VPN option

5) Fill fields with your VPN details
VPN name – any name like StrongVPN
Set VPN server – your VPN server(hostname)

6) Set IPSec pre-shared key as L2TP key from StrongVPN greeting
Do not enable L2TP secret!
DNS search domains keep blank

7) use Menu button and Save connection

8 ) Need confirm operation with storage password. This is your Android device password!!! not VPN password

9) We have configured VPN. Click on connection name to start

10) Fill fields with Username(login) and password
Set Remember username if you dont want enter it everytime

which VPN provider do you use?

OS: Android 2.3.4/GRJ22
VPN Provider: StrongVPN
Mobile Provide: China Mobile
I’ll attempt with wireless later today and circle back with StrongVPN tech support. If I make any progress, I’ll update the thread.
Works Great, for VPN server put the ip address in.
I have a Galaxy S 4g and this works great on my cell signal and on my wifi signal. Love it!!!!
