StrongVPN PPTP on Android
Just got Android based phone for some test. Create this small how-to for PPTP by StrongVPN.
Tested on Android v2.1
1) Under Settings choose Wireless & networks
2) Choose VPN settings from list
3) Use Add VPN to add new connection
4) Choose Add PPTP VPN option
5) Now we need fill fields with details
VPN name – any name like StrongVPN
Set VPN server – your VPN server(hostname)
Enable encryption is enabled (by default)
DNS search domains keep blank
6) Menu button and Save
7) Need confirm add with storage password. This is your Android device password!!! not VPN password
8 ) Now we have configured VPN. Click on name for connection
9) Fill fields with Username(login) and password
Set Remember username if you dont want enter it everytime
Unfortenatly didnt find option to save password so need enter it every time
